Magnesium Bisglycinate is the combination of Magnesium bound to the amino acid, Glycine. Glycine works synergistically alongside many neurotransmitters – like GABA –to promote sleep and speed up the recovery process. It is well-tolerated and well-absorbed, unlike other forms of Magnesium (such as the cheaper, more commonly found Magnesium Oxide). For this reason, it is also far less likely to cause laxative effects or gastrointestinal stress.
When is the best time to take magnesium for performance outcomes?

Magnesium citrate is a laxative. Literally, it is a saline laxative. So even though this supplement tastes OK, the benefits are largely from the magnesium glycinate. And if you're having some stomach troubles after taking this, well... it's because you took a laxative. Didn't realize this until my doctor told me.
I am happy that there is a magnesium product that is NSF certified. I found that magnesium really helps with my sleeping and recovery. This product is an every night sort of deal. You just HAVE to shake it if you want it to taste good- if you just stir it is quite lumpy. Maybe one of those hand frothers would work better! Taste is pretty artificial- seems like thats all you can get on the market these days though! Pineapple one is better than the berry in my opinion!
Have found this to be an excellent product. Taken 1 hour before I go to sleep I have found my deep sleep and recovery is consistently higher (tracked through) whoop.

Wow. After taking one jar of Triple Magnesium over the last month or so I am feeling great. Much less joint and muscle discomfort even after training for a half marathon and completing the event over the weekend. I am almost 74 years old so excited to have found something that appears to help so many ch with aches and pains
Never write reviews but thought this was worth it , before taking I haven’t slept as good after training , work or a night out but now 6-9 hours of sleep and I feel great every day
