Reigning Olympic 200m Breaststroke Gold Medallist, Zac Stubblety-Cook is the latest athlete to join the PILLAR Performance team, as he ramps up preparations for his 2022 season.

One of Australia’s leading men in the pool at Tokyo, Stubblety-Cook walked away with Bronze in the 4x100m Medley Relay alongside his maiden Gold.

Stubblety-Cook has been part of the Australian Dolphins squad since he was 19, after making his senior debut at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Based in Brisbane, Stubblety-Cook will officially work with the PILLAR team for all his micronutrient requirements, utilising the brand’s high-potency and batch tested products to fuel his performance.

PILLAR Founder, Damien Fitzpatrick was excited to welcome Stubblety-Cook to the team.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Zac over the last few months, he’s an impressive young guy who really understands the difference PILLAR is looking to provide athletes when it comes to micronutrition,” Fitzpatrick said.

“The beauty of this partnership is that Zac was already using PILLAR because he believed in our products and how it can benefit his performance. Once we connected and got to know him, it was a no-brainer.

“I’ve always loved swimming and it’s a sport I’m passionate about, so to now welcome an athlete of Zac’s calibre onto our team is really significant for our growing brand.

“We’re looking forward to supporting Zac as he pursues a big 2022 with both the World Championships and a Commonwealth Games.”

Stubblety-Cook said he was proud to be partnering with PILLAR Performance.

“I’ve been using PILLAR since early after their launch, I love their products and the benefits they provide my performance,” Stubblety-Cook said.

“To find high quality micros that are also batch tested is incredibly difficult, PILLAR has addressed a huge need for tested athletes.

“I’ve been blown away by Damien’s passion for micronutrition and his commitment to creating the best possible products for elite performance. Understanding his personal injury history around his career and the way it’s guided the direction he wants to take PILLAR is amazing to see.

“To be involved with a brand like PILLAR at such an early stage in its journey is something I’m really excited about.”
